October 12th Luncheon

Speaker:
Ruth Baer

Topic:
"How Are Your Feelings Affecting You, Your Life, and Your Relationships?"

Have you ever made a decision based on "feelings" and it did not go as you had hoped? Whether we are aware of it or not, our feelings, which affect our emotions, will influence our relationships and communication with people and most of all with our Heavenly Father. Join us as Ruth challenges us to think more closely in the coming days about the different feelings we experience and encourages us to see how those feelings measure up to God's Word. The outcome could be lifechanging. Come join us for a message that is sure to encourage your heart.

Based on the foundational truths found in Philippieans 4:8: "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think on these things." And Colossians 3:8. "But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth."

About the Speaker:
Ruth retired from Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield as a nurse consultant. She and her husband Mike have a blended family and she shares with a smile....sometimes not so blended. Since their retirement, they have enjoyed traveling. They have traveled from Key West to Alaska in their camper. Ruth and Mike have experienced the rewards and challenges of being Foster parents. No matter how old/mature Ruth is, she has learned to expect change. God is still working in her life. As she says, "I am a work in progress."

Join us for a message that is sure to encourage your heart.
