June 13th Luncheon

Shelly Thompson

Heart of a Warrior — Leaving a Godly Legacy

This is your invitation to a lunchtime adventure with author Shelly Thompson. Come hear the adventures God took a young girl on that now make up the pages of the book 'Heart of a Warrior' released on April 6th and endorsed by Karen Abercrombie, Miss Clara from the movie War Room. You'll be captivated on this lunchtime journey boarding the old Des Moines trolley to the destination of Highland Park. When you exit, you'll meet the wonderful women Warrior's, Shelly's parents and grandparents. You'll love this Mayberry like neighborhood and the testimonies of faith that God has brought to life years later in 'Heart of a Warrior'. You'll return from this lunch excursion refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to see where your own faith adventure with God will take you. Are you ready? All aboard for the Highland Park Trolley on June 13th! Join us, we’re looking forward to seeing each of you, for we know your heart will surely be encouraged and your day will undoubtedly be brighter!

Shelly's books, "Heart of a Warrior" and "Entwined", will be available for purchase at our June 13th Luncheon for $15.00.

Based on the foundational truths found in Psalm 37:4 — “He will give you the desires of your heart."

She has found the road in unknown territory is not always easy, BUT GOD always finds a way to bring about what He has promised giving us the desires of our heart.
